Delivery

Orders are processed in the order they are received. Telephone orders may take a day longer to process as we have to manually enter all the details into our systems, this is usually done within 24hours.

Inevitably with such a large variety of items available things will occasionally become out of stock. Out of stock items will be noted on a backorder slip (attached to your invoice) and you will  receive an email or a telephone call advising that the item is out of stock and an approximate delivery date may be given if known. Items that are out of stock on a longer term basis will have that fact noted on the product page and you will be advise by email or telephone..

We use the Royal Mail or selected Courier Services to deliver the majority of consignments, the exception being in the UK for those consignments containing hazardous materials which have to be delivered by Courier.  All consignments are sent subject to any terms and conditions imposed by Royal Mail. Any reference to compensation is the compensation from Royal Mail. 

UK Delivery


Orders up to the value of £20.00 (this is the Vat inclusive price of goods) will be sent by Royal Mail First Class Post, these will not require a signature and is non trackable. Orders from £20.01 to £75.00 in value will normally be sent by Royal Mail Signed For ( 1st Class) or similar, these deliveries will require a signature. Orders over £75.00 in value will normally be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery or similar, these will require a signature. The only exceptions to the above is for orders including heavy items such as larger tools when they will be sent Parcel Post or similar.

Europe Delivery

Because of problems with deliveries we restrict the countries we will ship parcels to outside the UK. The countries we currently ship to are; Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland,  Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.

We can ship to other countries but will only use a courier such as UPS please contact us for costs.

The costs for delivery to these counties are based on the value of the order. Orders under £20.00 will be sent airmail, orders over this value will be sent "International Signed For" or "Air Sure"

US, Canada, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand Delivery

Air Mail: the aim is to deliver within five working days of posting. Consignments to the US, Canada and New Zealand  can be tracked.
